Allegiance Property Management is proud to announce that Courtney Parks, MPM®, RMP®, Principal Broker and Managing Partner, has been named the 2026 Property Manager of the Year by Virginia REALTORS®.
Courtney received the Ann Swearingen Property Manager of the Year Award during the Virginia REALTORS® annual awards ceremony on September 16, 2026, in Williamsburg, Virginia.
The statewide award recognizes excellence in residential property management, taking into consideration professional achievements, industry involvement, leadership, and service to the REALTOR® community.
Nearly Two Decades in Property Management
Courtney joined Allegiance Property Management in 2009 and has been an important part of the company's growth over the past 17 years. As Principal Broker and Managing Partner, she oversees daily operations, including leasing, maintenance, accounting, and client services, while working closely with the team to continually improve how Allegiance serves property owners and residents throughout Northern Virginia.
Outside of Allegiance, Courtney has dedicated considerable time to supporting and advancing the property management profession.
She served two consecutive terms as President of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM®) in 2024 and 2025. She has also served on the Virginia REALTORS® Property Managers Council and the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS® (NVAR) Standard Forms Committee.
Most recently, Courtney was appointed to the 2027 NVAR Board of Directors, continuing her involvement in leadership at the local association level.
Courtney also helped spearhead the creation of NVAR's first Property Management Forum, an initiative designed to provide more educational opportunities and bring greater attention to property management within the local REALTOR® community.
Earlier this year, Courtney earned the Master Property Manager (MPM®) designation, the highest professional designation offered by NARPM, adding to her Residential Management Professional (RMP®) designation.

Throughout her career, Courtney has been committed to improving the way residential properties are managed, both within Allegiance and across the industry.
At Allegiance, she has helped guide improvements to the company's systems, operations, and client services while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day challenges of property management.
Her work outside the company reflects that same dedication, whether through volunteering with professional associations, helping develop educational opportunities, or collaborating with fellow property management professionals.
